★★★★★10 months agoOn our last day in Amsterdam, I stopped by this bakery after reading the great reviews online — and it truly lived up to the praise! There was still a good selection at 5.30pm, maybe because of the poor weather. I was happy to pick up croissants (€2), a whole apple tart (€15), financiers, canelés, and a rhubarb tart. Everything was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and packed everything up nicely. Highly recommended!!

★★★★★a year agoLe Fournil is an absolute must-visit for anyone who loves real French bread and pastries. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by the wonderful smell of freshly baked baguettes, croissants, and other traditional treats. Everything is made authentically, and you can really taste the difference in quality. Their croissants are perfectly buttery and light, exactly how they should be. The pains au chocolat are consistently excellent too—crispy on the outside and rich on the inside. The staff are friendly and helpful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. In short: a little piece of France that you’ll want to keep coming back to.
