    You can take Europe’s oldest working wooden escalator which is quite interesting but there is also a lift with a capacity of around 15-20 people if im not mistaken which might be easier if you are travelling with a bike. Really cool tunnel, highly recommend singing something as the echo is really good :)) Be vary of the speed bumps, I’ve seen mass accidents happening because someone fell and then everyone crashed into eachother, please pay attention (and hold your handlebars unlike me in the video)

    OK, the thing is maybe a bit of a gimmick but, I did see a lot of local people using the tunnel for transportation, it was really cool and riding the old wooden escalator was fun. You have to watch for the bikes in the tunnel because they’re going pretty fast, but everybody was using courtesy and caution. When you get to the other side, it’s about a two block walk and you can catch the ferry back to the other side, there are great views from the boat and both trips are absolutely free. I almost didn’t do it and I would’ve been sorry.
