★★★★★4 months agoMust see site in Athens. Set just below the Acropolis, is the Agora. Great views of Acropolis from here. The highlight is the beautifully preserved Temple of Hephaestus, one of the best-preserved ancient Greek temples in the world. The children loved it. Such a great place of historical significance. Would recommend visiting this place when in Athens.

★★★★★a month agoThe Ancient Agora is definitely worth a visit, at least for the Temple of Hephaestus —the best-preserved temple of the ancient gods. It's significantly less crowded than the Acropolis itself, and it's also more suitable for visiting during the hottest days — you can escape to the cool of the museum or stop in the shade of the trees with a breathtaking view.
