★★★★★4 months agoThis museum is well worth a visit. It focuses on East Berlin during the time of the Iron Curtain, and you can really get a sense of the atmosphere from that era. The museum is beautifully designed and much quieter than the more centrally located DDR Museum. The Kulturbrauerei is a beautiful historic site in the vibrant district of Prenzlauer Berg.

★★★★★7 months agoBeautifully designed and curated museum, with video installations about life in communism. Cute trabi with tent on top 😆 It’s completely free to visit (it was funded by the German state). My favorite part was the one about fashion in DDR.
