I was drawn to this space because I am interested in WW2 history and also art. Somehow I was under the impression this would be a contemporary art museum. On learning the shows exhibited were "art immersion" experiences, I almost left. But I went anyway. I was greatly surprised by how much I enjoyed the shows about Matisse and Frida Khalo. The use of the space was quite brilliant and I found myself marveling that this horrible structure built partly by slave labor for war was now used to give life to art and music. This will definitely be a top recommended stop for my friends coming to Bordeaux.

Just an amazing immersive experience that is well worth going to. This particular show was Matisse & Freida Kahlo and you would swear you were inside their paintings
