★★★★★2 months agoThe museum is a bit out of the way in Brussels unless you are also planning to see the Atomium ; I would recommend factoring in a visit time of roughly 1 & a 1/2 hours. However the advantage of this museum being "out of the way" is that if you arrive at opening time, you will most likely get to visit the museum alone / without any crowds. The plastic collection is really something special, its variety of household objects and furniture does a great job of highlighting the limitless creativity of mid-century designers from a formal perspective. Highly recommended !

★★★★★a year agoThere were no waiting lines, we got in there quickly. The main part of the museum is the Belgium design exposition. It's comprised of two parts; one is about the various chairs and furniture. The other one is collected from all around the world and is comprised from plastic design elements; here you can see all the various everyday items and electronics made from plastics and how they evolved over time. Then, the most interesting exposition to me was the skateboarding part. Here you are able to see the evolution of the skateboarding culture. There are some really unique skateboards and items.
