★★★★★4 months agoThe ascent to the dome is a fantastic experience, though it requires some physical effort. The first part consists of wide, safe stairs, followed by a unique spiral ramp. The final climb to the lantern is quite steep, but well-organized with separate stairs for up and down to avoid congestion. Once at the top, the panoramic view of Dresden is simply stunning. However, it is important to note that there is no elevator for this climb. The many steps and steep sections make it inaccessible for anyone with significant mobility issues or walking disabilities. If you are fit for the trek, the reward is absolutely worth it!
