Lingnerschloss is a hidden gem, way less crowded than the Zwinger but the view is on another level! It sits up on the Elbe hill, so you get this insane panorama of Dresden old town, the river, all the bridges and the Frauenkirche dome right in your face. Went for sunset and it was easily one of the best views of the whole trip. The palace itself is beautiful from the outside (classic white villa style), gardens are super well-kept, perfect for just chilling on the grass with a beer. The terrace of the restaurant is the spot; grabbed a table, ordered some schnitzel and cold beers and just watched the city light up. Prices are totally fair for that location. Not many tourists know about this place yet, so it feels like you discovered something special. 10-15 min Uber from the center or you can even walk along the Elbe if you’re up for it. Absolute 5 stars, if you’re in Dresden don’t sleep on Lingnerschloss! 🍻🌅🏰"

Nice place, very friendly staff. The car park is. Short walk away from the Palace and parking is free. Staff were friendly. 3 euros to go up on the roof top terrace. Nice place! Great views.
