★★★★★6 months agoFantastic museum. The whole Shindaga museum complex is wonderful. Attentive staff, interesting, well curated displays and exhibits including multi media and interactive sections. The whole museum complex is large with nany differently themed pavilions. Unless you are a determined museum visitor, you may want to spread it over 2 days. But the entry fee is very reasonable, so multiple visits are not going to break the bank. Highly recommend!

In particular, check out the Armenian Bible with ivory covers, as well as the cover of the Kaaba from Suleiman the Magnificent. Some items could do with more explanation and overall commentary, but the artefacts alone merit a trip!
