We visited this beautiful area on the evening of 6 January 2026, just before checking in at our hotel. The atmosphere at night was absolutely charming, with the warm glow of city lights illuminating the vintage-style buildings. The area was lively with the sound of trams passing by and people enjoying some window shopping. Even with the bare winter trees, the scenery felt magical and very photogenic. It’s a perfect spot to stroll around, soak in the historic vibe, and pick up some local souvenirs. A must-visit destination to experience the classic heart of Frankfurt.

So much to see, from beautiful buildings to the St Bartholomew Church, and everything in-between. It was fairly busy as the sun was shining. Loads of cafes and restuarants. As well as museums.
