A lovely afternoon at Frankfurt Zoo. It's a beautifully maintained place right in the city, with a great variety of animals and well-designed enclosures. Especially recommended for families with children — there is plenty to see, shaded paths, and nice spots to rest along the way. The Grzimekhaus (nocturnal animals) and the Exotarium were highlights. Friendly staff, easy to reach by public transport, and a perfect outing for a few hours. Highly recommended.
