I love castles! This castle did not disappoint and the history was very interesting. I loved all of the space to wander and the audio tour was very interesting and informative. The views from the top are incredible and tickets are easy to get. The castle is also in a very busy part of town so it's fun to explore the surrounding areas too.

Explored absolutely everywhere I could and enjoyed seeing all the different brick and stone work from remodels and repairs through the centuries. The museum has an excellent selection of arms. Lots of fun for the whole family and it took us about four hours to thoroughly explore it all.
