  The Tomb of Ancient Muslim Sages (清真先贤古墓), also known as the Maqam of Sa’ad bin Abi Waqqas, is one of the most spiritually significant and historically rich sites in Guangzhou. Located near Yuexiu Park, it offers a peaceful sanctuary from the city's hustle and a fascinating look into the early introduction of Islam to China during the Tang Dynasty. Deep Historical Significance: This site is believed to be the resting place of Sa’ad bin Abi Waqqas, a companion of the Prophet Muhammad. Walking through the 1,300-year-old grounds, you feel the weight of history and the enduring legacy of the Silk Road. The "Echoing Tomb" (Xiangfen): The architectural design of the main tomb is unique—it is built with a hollow interior and a domed roof. When you speak or pray inside, the acoustics create a resonant echo, which has earned it the nickname "The Echoing Tomb." Exquisite Gardens: The complex is more than just a cemetery; it is a beautifully landscaped garden filled with ancient trees, lush greenery, and traditional Chinese-Islamic architecture. The contrast between the grey stone memorial arches and the vibrant green surroundings is stunning. A Living Community: Unlike a static museum, this is an active place of worship.   Its Muslim Sahabi Hazrat Abi Waqas Shrine. Here there is also a mosque. Every religion can visit, In Friday about 1 pm lot of people to pray. but other days can also visit. Here there is a well of 1600 year old. Lot of old graves of the companion of than sahabi. They came from Saudi Arabia, Mekkah
