This place is fantastic, there is no fee for entry. Great for parents taking children on a low cost day out. There is a veranda walk overlooking the harbour. This spans the full circumference of the building. Didn't get to see the concert hall but can imagine the acoustics will be unquestionably dynamic. There is also a restaurant and a gift shop. Well worth the effort.

Visited the Elbphilharmonie on a Sunday afternoon around 4pm, and it was surprisingly not too crowded. I could take my time and really enjoy the views from the Plaza without feeling rushed. The panoramic view over the harbour and city is stunning and definitely worth it. The whole experience—from the long curved escalator up to the viewing platform—feels quite unique. You can also simply walk up to the ticket counter and get a free entry ticket for the Plaza, which makes it super easy to visit even spontaneously. Would definitely recommend going around this time if you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere!
