A true hidden gem in Hamburg! The views alone are absolutely worth the trip. It's fascinating to know that this is actually the largest warehouse district in the world built entirely on oak timber piles, and it was even named a UNESCO World Heritage site. While it may not be the type of place you'd stay for hours on end, it's a fantastic spot to take a walk and appreciate the historic, neo Gothic red brick architecture. Plus, it's very close to the central train statio, so if you only have a one hour gap in your schedule, you can still easily make time to see it!.
