On my visit here, I even saw, school kids, come here with bags and tongs in their hands picking up the very small litter left behind by ppl. Absolutely brilliant ! Must see if you are staying in Hangzhou.

★★★★★6 years agoWent today alone. You can either walk up the steep stairs, or hitch a ride on the electric car. I walked up and it took about 25 minutes. The path could have been wider, as there were many times that I was having to stop to allow a family to pass. However, after the first half of the climb, you can turn around and see beautiful views of Hangzhou. In the Pagoda atop the mountain there is a small exhibit showcasing the history of the area which was nice, and the views from the two different levels are pretty amazing if you go on the right day.
