Between Hong Kong Park and the Mid-Level Escalators is this jem of a park. The first thing we saw when entering from the South was an arch dedicated to the Chinese who fought with the Allies during both world wars. My wife is from Shanghai, and this honor set the stage for our great experience here. This park has pretty green areas, lots of birds, a well-placed ice cream cart, cranes, pheasants, and a few otters. For a place that was between locations we wanted to visit, we wound up staying here over an hour, and wanted to stay longer. Definitely worth a visit.

Hong Kong Zoological Park is a delightful green escape in the heart of the city, offering free entry to all visitors. The park is beautifully landscaped, with well-maintained pathways, lush gardens, and a peaceful atmosphere. It houses a variety of birds and animals, making it an enjoyable spot for families and nature lovers alike. The tall, mature trees provide ample shade and add to the natural charm of the place. It’s perfect for a relaxing walk, photography, or simply spending time amidst nature. Overall, a serene and refreshing destination that combines wildlife, greenery, and accessibility wonderfully.
