★★★★★Edited 8 months agoHeritage 1881 (formerly Marine Police Headquarters) is a stunning Victorian-era complex built in 1881. Declared a monument in 1994, it was revitalised into a luxury shopping, heritage hotel and shopping destination (1881 Hullett House). Iconic features include the historic stables, Time Ball Tower and colonial architecture. Yes there are shops here but the real draw is the architecture which is immaculately maintained and stunning in design. The location near TST Harbour City and the coast means it is very well placed for a good day of activities.
