★★★★★3 months agoA nice place to stay, chill, “hea” and enjoy a cup of nice coffee. Here’s some exhibition to see and books to read. Here’s one of my recommended book to read which recorded the history of Hong Kong’s old shops with explanation of the shop owner’s story and the aesthetic. (See picture below) There are also books regarding painting, printmaking/ ceramics, ink painting and calligraphy. You can buy related souvenirs here too.

★★★★★7 months agoSmall but beautiful exhibition on the Heart Sutra calligraphies by one of the most eminent Chinese Classists and Buddhist scholars! You could see his transcriptions of the Heart Sutra in a variety of scripts throughout his life, and even try copying one yourself at the water calligraphy station. Perfect space to escape to from the busy city. The neighbourhood around the museum also has a lot of interesting street art and old HK shops.
