★★★★★3 months agoNan Lian Garden is a really beautiful, peaceful escape right in the middle of Hong Kong. It’s designed in a Tang Dynasty style, and everything feels very intentional—from the perfectly placed rocks to the still ponds that reflect the buildings like a mirror. The golden pavilion in the middle of the lotus pond is the highlight, especially with the red bridges leading up to it. It almost looks unreal in person. The whole place is clean, quiet, and easy to walk through, without feeling crowded or overwhelming. It’s not very big, but that actually makes it better—you can take your time and just enjoy the calm atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting if you want a break from the city.
