★★★★★6 months agoDefinitely worth a visit! A place of memories who’s gave for Hong Kong in war. Suggest walk along the path up the hill where you can find different Weapons and construction of defence. At the top, there are well decorated museum and amazing collection and display! A restaurant inside the museum for refreshments! Highly recommended the museum!

★★★★★a year agoAn incredibly well put together, underrated museum with deeply detailed exhibits of Hong Kong's rich colonial and military history. There is also a lower section of the museum taking you to the coastline. A full walk around will take a good two to three hours and more and it makes for a good half day activity. Free admission too. The museum is very well maintained. My favourite part of the museum were the exhibits on the build up of the fort leading up to World War II, and the subsequent repurposing of the lands in the years around the handover. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy history.
