★★★★★8 months agoAs we walked past this place we decided to visit spontaneously, and we did not regret it. The museum explains how the bells are made, and what processes are involved to make them sound a certain way, op to the point music can be made with the bells. Amazingly, just a day before they had poured a new bell in the foundry. We were allowed to take a look and we could still feel the heat. It is impressive that this place dedicated to clock bells has been in the hands of the same family generation after generation since 1599. It humbled me when I read on one of the clocks: Soli Deo Gloria.

★★★★★10 months agoIt's an archaic place showing very old techniques and plants and ways on how to make a beautiful bell which is to sound well and look impressive for hundreds of years! They have what hardly anybody has: regular customers for hundreds of years 😊. Next to the workshop they show a very interesting exhibition including a beautiful video about how they make bells. Impressive and definitely worth a visit!
