★★★★★a month agoThe Ground Floor Marketplace: While the upper floor of the Cloth Hall runs the 19th-century fine art gallery, the historic arcade stalls on the ground floor function as a bustling marketplace heavily dedicated to Baltic amber jewelry and raw specimens. The Baltic Gold Connection: Most amber sold in Kraków originates from the southern coast of the Baltic Sea (Poland's "Amber Coast"). It is prized for its high succinic acid content, earning it the scientific name succinite.

★★★★★8 months agoFor youth, it is free, as well as for seniors and children. Many people just walk through it as there are stands within its exterior hallway corridor, and the gallery entrance is on the northern part, a bit hard to spot. The interior is really nice, and the gallery itself consists of Polish authors from the transition time between realism and impressionism, thus creating a new discourse in Polish art. Many such pieces are visually appealing, and it was a really nice gallery, with no crowd whatsoever. An absolute recommendation.
