This is a great quirky museum, lovingly curated by a team of volunteers. Housed in the workhouse building where Charlie Chaplin lived with his mother as a child. Also an events space for screenings and fringe / community shows. You need to book as the museum is only open at specific times for tours.

Just spent 2 hours (includes 30 minutes of old adverts, film promos and a Tom & Jerry cartoon) in The Cinema Museum. It's a charity, run by volunteers, and is well worth a visit for those interested in the history of film. They show screenings (Chaplin, Laurel & Hardy, etc) too!
