Martin Reviews
★★★★★9 months agoWimbledon Park is a fantastic destination that truly offers something for everyone. Whether you’re drawn to the water or prefer to stay on land, the range of activities is impressive. The lake is a hub of fun and energy, with sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and even pedal boats available for all skill levels. The well-maintained facilities make it easy to enjoy a day out, and there’s a real sense of community among those who take to the water regularly. Beyond the lake, the park’s sports facilities are top-notch. The golf course and tennis courts provide classic options, while the athletics track, bowling green, and beach volleyball courts cater to a variety of interests. The adventure golf and outdoor table tennis add a more playful touch, making the park equally appealing to families and casual visitors. Parkrun events bring locals together every week, and the atmosphere is always welcoming and lively. For those seeking relaxation or family time, Wimbledon Park delivers a perfect blend of nature and recreation. The children’s playground, nature trail, and scenic walking routes—including a stretch of the Capital Ring—make it ideal for peaceful strolls or family picnics by the lake. Dogs are welcome in most areas, and amenities like the café, car park, and changing rooms add convenience. With the charming Windmill Museum and tearooms nearby, it’s easy to spend an entire day exploring and unwinding. Wimbledon Park is a true gem that balances activity, relaxation, and natural beauty.

★★★★★2 months agoGreat outdoor space and although we came for the paddling pool (opening in July) we left with amazing views and good fun. There’re playground facilities, a nice place you can grab some food or ice cream and refill water station next to clean toilets. There’s lake view was stunning and I’m glad we got to see that too. Easy walk from the station or by bus otherwise if driving there are parking facilities nearby.
