We came across this super charming and colorful fountain while wandering through the cobblestone streets of Lucerne's Old Town. It's a beautiful little landmark, surrounded by gorgeous, classic Swiss buildings that make for a perfect photo backdrop. It's a great spot to just pause for a moment, take it all in, and let the kids have a closer look. It’s not a huge monument you need to schedule your day around, but rather one of those wonderful little discoveries that makes exploring a city on foot so rewarding. A definite highlight of the Old Town and a great photo op!

This place definitely looks completely different during Fasnacht. And the fountain… becomes a stage! It was an extremely fun experience tho. The transformation is quite drastic and a sight to see, especially if you have seen it before during normal times.
