Highly recommended. This place is a piece of Malaga's history. My father introduced me to this place. He used to go there in the 1960s. And it is still there since it was founded in 1840. I always take the Pajarete, a semi sweet red wine. Right from the barrel. There used to be also prawns and other tapas. But the last few times (I get there about once a year) I haven't seen the tapas being served. The service is great, especially if you know Spanish.

A true living legend and a must-visit in Malaga. This authentic wine shop lets you relax and truly feel the history in the air. The staff are incredibly friendly and serve excellent, traditional wines straight from the barrel. On top of that, it’s very budget-friendly.
