★★★★★2 months agoMy husband and I spent about 2 hrs here. The displays are educational and it's a large open space. Lots of descriptions of of prehistory. Plus the little ride around the recreated caves was a highlight. The best way to experience these underwater findings. Genius!

★★★★★4 months agoAmazing "experience" of an underground cave with prehistoric cave paintings. Yes, this is a replica - but it's a stunningly good one, and the attention to detail is really impressive. The tour puts you in a 6-person capsule that moves through the ~220m track, spinning to make it easier to see the highlighted items in the accompanying audio. It's followed by an exposition upstairs with models of the animals of the same era as the cave paintings, and an explanation of how much the sea level has changed. The cave tour was by far the best part. But do watch the film about the discovery. Recommended.
