★★★★★a month agoGreat monument in Marseille... One of the main things what to see in this city... When you walk around such a great feeling... Beautiful architecture, big waterfall, big park, come, look and enjoy... Inside you have two museums one with pictures and one with animals, both are amazing... Sometimes it's very crowded and I recommend to come early in the morning, and take nice pictures and videos... All recommendations for visit and enjoy if you are in Marseille

★★★★★5 months agoAn Absolute Architectural Masterpiece in Marseille! "If you are visiting Marseille, the Palais Longchamp is a non-negotiable must-see. I was absolutely blown away by the scale and the sheer beauty of this monument. It’s easily one of the most Instagrammable spots in the city, but photos truly don't do the intricate stonework and the grand water fountains justice. The history of the site—built to celebrate the arrival of water from the Durance river—is fascinating, and you can feel the sense of triumph in the design. The centerpiece fountain is majestic, and the way the water cascades down into the basins is incredibly peaceful. Beyond the palace itself, the surrounding park (Parc Longchamp) is a perfect place for a stroll or a picnic. It’s clean, well-maintained, and offers a lovely escape from the busy city streets. It also houses the Natural History Museum and the Fine Arts Museum, so you can easily spend a whole afternoon here soaking up culture. Entry to the grounds and the park is free, which makes it one of the best value experiences in France. Do not miss the chance to see this at sunset—the golden light hitting the statues is magical!"
