Bab Al Salam (Gate of Peace) is one of the most famous and historic gates of Masjid al-Haram in Makkah. Located on the western side of the mosque, it has traditionally been one of the main entrances used by pilgrims entering the sacred sanctuary. Many visitors prefer to enter through Bab Al Salam as it offers a memorable first view of the Holy Kaaba. The gate holds great spiritual significance and has been renovated several times as part of the expansion projects of Masjid al-Haram while preserving its importance in Islamic history.
