We visited a couple of days after Pompeii and doing it in that order was good. Herculaneum has lots to see (we spent 3hrs there) and is very interesting. It is preserved in a different way to Pompeii and you can see the differences in the buildings. Very interesting site and well worth the visit.

This archaeological park is a truly exceptional experience! ✨ We visited around 2:30 PM and found it wonderfully peaceful, with no queues. The buildings are remarkably preserved, even more so than Pompeii. It's such an enjoyable and compact site, plus it's super easy to reach from the train station. Highly recommend! 🏛️🤩
