We didn't walk around the pool of water seen in photos online but we did look down on a pool of water at one point (photo attached). It's not possible to go in without a guide, so do check the site in advance for the tour times. We were early so went for a coffee in the meantime. The guides are doing a great job, keeping the history facts understandable and there's a lot of time to take pictures. Tickets can be bought on spot too, but online was super easy as well.
