★★★★★7 months agoThe museum was designed by renowned Japanese architect, Kenzo Tange. This museum although is in Nice, I can imagine myself in Tokyo overlooking the same pond. I came to see the Sumo exhibition and I wasn't disappointed. It's well worth a visit. There are small lockers available. I bought a poster and Japanese incense from the gift shop. I look forward to visit again in upcoming exhibitions.

★★★★★3 months agoThis small free museum is a real gem which deserves more visitors! The building itself is very interesting in a beautiful location overlooking a pond on the edge of Phoenix Park. There are some really great exhibits and beautiful objects from multiple Asian countries and we particularly enjoyed the current exhibition on Japanese street performers which has some wonderful, colourful and detailed paintings and great information boards. It's well worth the short trip out from the centre of Nice!
