Having previously seen the empty site in Egypt where it was originally taken from, seeing it stand here in person felt truly special and evocative. The square is a fantastic place for a stroll, and it's quite common to see people sitting down to enjoy some wine. While I’m not entirely sure about the strict legality of drinking in this public space, many people were doing so regardless. It has a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere that captures the essence of Paris. Highly recommended for a scenic break!
