Huge fascinating museum that shows off the evolution of technology and highlights the key role French innovators played at each industry and innovation. Some of the antique pieces are more steam punk than technology, but beautiful in their execution. The bat like flying machine over the stairs is amazing to see in person, as is Foucault's pendulum in action. Personally I enjoyed seeing the clocks and watches created after the French revolution instilled the metric system on timekeeping. When I visited, the new exhibit on failed design was a brilliant counterpoint. The museum also has many interactive features for children as well as explainers for non technical adults.

Amazing museum with a wide array of inventions for all audiences! I was pleasantly surprised with how many different sections there were & I loved the layout for the general exhibit. Highly recommend for anyone who loves science & engineering.
