    One of my favourite museums in Paris, have been here three times and would definitely go back. I love Monet’s nympheas. The layout of the paintings of Monet in the different rooms is beautiful. Would highly recommend!

    Excellent museum, Monets water lillies are stunning and its worth visiting for these alone. There are other impressive exhibits on Rousseau, but the water lillies (understandably) dominate the experience. Entry was quick with prebooked tickets, however the no tickets line barely looked to be moving - definitely book in advance! There is a mandatory cloakroom for bags, including small backpacks. The toilets are downstairs and not well signposted. As with other art museums in Paris, there is aircon. The water lillies are intended to be observed in silence (as is written at the entrance), however they let in guided tour groups...
