We recommend taking a tuk tuk up (around 200 baht return) — it makes the experience much easier and usually includes stopping so you can feed the monkeys, which we really enjoyed. It’s a long, steep walk if you go on foot, especially in the heat, so transport is definitely worth it. Overall, a fun and memorable spot when visiting Phuket.

★★★★★2 months agoFree. Open all day as people live here. There are guards. No car access. You can hike (quite steep) or go in a cart if mobility issues. There are some cafes that open in the evening. Half way there is a restaurant with great view. Several toilets along the way. Resting spots and exercise equipment along the way. You will be fine as long as you dont feed the monkeys and make no eye contact. They get agressive when food is around. They will jump on you if you shake your hands and if you carry water they will steal your bottle. Just be mindful and respectful and you will be ok ♡
