Amazing experience! If you have the time book it! You get to interact with the elephants in an amazing once in a life time experience. You learn how the mahout tend and care for the elephants their entirety of the elephants life until one or the other dies. You get to give the elephants a mud scrub, you get to hand feed them, shower them and tons and tons of pictures taken by the sanctuary’s photographers that are uploaded the very next day free of charge! Transportation to and from the sanctuary is prohibited provided as well as lunch. The lunch is chili free and allergy friendly. There are vegans options. Hands down the best part of my entire trip to Phuket.

A must visit sanctuary. The highlight of our cruise. Amazing to get up close to these incredible elephants and to learn about how they have been rescued. Each elephant has a keeper for life who lives on site. You are not allowed to ride the elephants and all interactions are well supervised. Lunch was prepared on site in an open kitchen, great food - don’t miss this! We booked direct with the sanctuary and they picked us up from the ship. Kaz & Nige
