★★★★★2 months agoStaff houses of people who used to work for the royal family. Goldsmiths, tailors, herbal medicine makers, pottery and weaponry. Overall a major highlight of Prague castle. The armoury and defence section was the best one here. Don't forget to visit the underground torture chamber at tge end of golden lane. A very nice and unique section of Prague castle included in the main circuit ticket.

★★★★★8 months agoSuch a charming and magical little street! 🧚The colorful houses, tiny doorways, and historical atmosphere make you feel like you’ve stepped into a fairy tale. It’s a small place, but full of character✨❤️definitely worth a visit🙏🏻👌 History in few words: Golden Lane was built for the castle guards and goldsmiths who once lived in these tiny colorful houses. Over the centuries it became home to craftsmen, artists, and even Franz Kafka, who wrote here in house No. 22. You can see Kafka’s house through my lens❤️✨🙏🏻
