If you ever get tired of city’s life, come to Prokopské údolí, it’s like Prague decided to hide a secret valley just south of the city-quiet, green, with limestone cliffs that look ancient enough to whisper stories. Trail’s easy, two-three hours if you want to take your time.

One of my absolute favorite places in Prague. It’s surprisingly big, and once you're inside, it feels like you've escaped the city completely. I’ve gone here for walks, hikes, runs, and even celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday with a barbecue and picnic — it’s perfect for that. The rock formations are stunning, and there are several good restaurants nearby if you want to grab something after. Also great for biking. It’s close to the metro (line B), just about 15 minutes on foot. A hidden gem of nature in Prague!
