I don't know why some comments are so mean and picky about them 'do not have permanent show'. This museum has pretty nicely curated shows with decent quality all the time through the year with a ticket cost less than a-cup-of-coffee. I would say that because I know them very well for years, both as an audience and a workmate: this is one of the most influential museums during I grew up, and I also worked as a coworker with them before (in a different museum) after I decide to become an artist and wanted to know about the art system. Some of their shows are definitely worth checking out if you interest in visual art and design. This is not a commercial art gallery or historic museum, please don't take this wrong and feel disappointed by their “the wrong collection” - It is more of a contemporary museum of design and visual arts works (about half and a half, domestic and international artists ). Also as they known as a very early (maybe the first?) design and newer media focus museum in China.

Great neat small exhibition space. Exhibitions usually focusing art and technology. The building has a nice design, designed by Urbanus architecture office. The rest depends on which exhibition is showing.
