★★★★★a month agoA worthy visit while in Tallinn! I’d allow at least an hour and highly recommend the cafe there as well. Public transportation is easily accessible and you’ll want to use it if you are staying near the Old Town. There’s something intriguing for everyone here. The resilience of the Estonian people is felt deeply throughout their art.

★★★★★2 months agoI definitely got my admission value out of KUMU - it's got a lot on display from old to contemporary art. The children's area was really innovative, as were some of the installations of otherwise fairly standard portraits and busts. The contemporary exhibitions included VR headsets and immersive light/audio shows along with more traditional media. I didn't enjoy the AI pieces in there though. There are, I'm sure, ways to use AI effectively in art - but it should be a really high, intentional bar. The staff member who helped us with tickets was kind and knowledgeable. This was a great way to spend an afternoon!
