    El Puente de San José está situado sobre el antiguo cauce del Turia, hoy conocido como Jardín del Turia, entre los puentes de Las Artes y Los Serranos, en la zona más occidental de dicho cauce. Este puente histórico fue construido para comunicar los barrios de Zaidia y Marchalenes con el centro de la ciudad. Sus orígenes como pasarela de madera datan de 1383. Después de sufrir las consecuencias de varias riadas, se reconstruyó en piedra en los primeros años del S. XVII. Fue entonces cuando se le dio su aspecto barroco y se incorporaron nuevos materiales, sillería y trece arcos escarzanos. En el lado cerca de la plaza del Portal Nou se encuentra la estatua de San Jose

    Puente construido en el siglo XIV, reconstrido en piedra en el siglo XVII. También llamado puente de la Cruz. Una maravilla arquitectónica, como puede observarse en su base y en la construcción del mismo. En las piedras podemos observar las marcas de los maestros pedreros y de los encargados de ir poniendo las piedras en su sitio. Construido frente al Convento de San Jose Y Santa Teresa. Conviene perder unos minutos y pasear bajo sus arcos para poder admirar los cientos de detalles de la obra.
