★★★★★3 months agoLower Belvedere was the former residence of Prince Eugene of Savoy. I found it quite spectacular to have such a palace, with enormous gardens, right in the heart of the city. One of the most interesting rooms, by far, was the gold cabinet, which had dozens dazzling mirrors, gilded panels, and grotesque painting. I'd recommend you book a ticket in advance days before. We were lucky to find an opening on the same day. Also, be sure to visit the Orangery. There were many familiar artists with lesser known paintings there.

★★★★★3 months agoThe Lower Belvedere (Unteres Belvedere) is a charming and elegant part of the Belvedere complex. Its beautifully preserved Baroque interiors and intimate atmosphere create a unique and refined experience. The exhibitions are thoughtfully curated, allowing you to enjoy art in a more спокойной and personal setting. The decorative details of the palace itself — ornate ceilings, frescoes, and historic rooms — are just as impressive as the artworks on display. Walking through the Lower Belvedere feels like stepping into a piece of history. A wonderful place to explore at a relaxed pace and fully appreciate both art and architecture.
