★★★★★2 months agoExtraordinary museum. We were impressed at first sight. Wooden rooms, ceramic stoves, old vs new, dioramas, weapons, knight armors and watches. This museum is a true representation of swiss history trough time. There is only one floor, with a tower access, but it is worth visiting. Overall time to complete around 1h-1:30h. The price was worth it.

★★★★★7 months agoIt's a big museum that takes 3 hours easily to cover every gallery or room there is. We had swiss travel pass and we get free entry for this museum with pass. There are cloak rooms near the entrance to store our coats and bags. They give a coin along with the ticket for cloak room. After third floor, you can go by steps to the tower and see the city view in different angles. The steps between first and second floors have a few beds on which you can relax and enjoy some reading. There's miniature, a collection of historical coins and many more. Plan your visit accordingly and have fun!
