★★★★★5 months agoLoved visiting the Benaki Museum! The collection is incredibly rich: from antiquity to religious art (including El Greco!) and even a great temporary exhibition on Mesolonghi. The variety is amazing and the whole museum is very well organized, making it easy and enjoyable to explore. Staff was also very kind. We spent around 2 hours there and with the combo ticket (€16.80), it felt absolutely worth it. Bonus: the museum also has a lovely café/restaurant with a beautiful view over Athens. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting a deeper dive into Greek history and culture.

★★★★★a month agoMy 16-year old niece and I highly recommend a visit to the Benaki Museum. Make sure you have time for this museum because it has so much to offer. If you go on a Sunday know that they close early (4pm). We arrived after 2pm and felt rushed. Thankfully their rooftop is open later and, while pricey, it's a nice place to spend time.
