★★★★★a month agoI had a wonderful experience visiting Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram Rajwaramahawihan (Wat Pho). The temple is beautiful, peaceful, and rich in history. The famous Reclining Buddha is absolutely breathtaking and much larger than I expected. The architecture, murals, and intricate details throughout the temple are stunning. The grounds are clean and well maintained, and there are many interesting areas to explore. It is a great place to learn about Thai culture and Buddhism while enjoying a calm atmosphere. I highly recommend visiting if you are in Bangkok

★★★★★a month agoThe Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho is absolutely huge – way more impressive than I expected! It’s over 46 meters long (150 feet!) and 15 meters high. Seeing it in person is mind-blowing, the photos don’t do it justice. The golden statue is massive and the details on the feet with mother-of-pearl are beautiful. The whole temple complex is gorgeous too, with all the colorful pagodas and stupas. We also tried the traditional Thai massage here which was great. Entry is 200 baht and you need to cover your shoulders and knees. Allow at least 1-2 hours to see everything properly. Definitely worth visiting – the Reclining Buddha alone is worth the trip!
