The Bangkok Butterfly Garden is a great place to explore, and the best part is that it is completely free to enter; you just need to register at the front. While most of the educational materials are in Thai, you can still enjoy walking through the grounds and spotting the different butterfly species. I recommend visiting during a cooler time of day if possible. We went during the hottest hour and didn't see as many butterflies as we hoped, but the garden still has a good variety of species to see. It’s a nice, quiet spot for a quick nature break in the city.

We were greeted by the docents so nicely. It was peaceful with the sounds of the water, the flowers, children and the butterflies. A sacred place of connection to nature nestled in a beautiful park.
