★★★★★3 months agoA lot of people mention slow service here. But I think it really depends on how busy it is. The two girls working there yesterday were working extremely hard to get everyone served. There were also a few guys helping later on which was definitely needed based on how busy it was. The croquettes we had were by far the best we've ever had anywhere. Just full of flavour. I've been to Barcelona a few times before and this is my new favourite tapas bar. I highly recommend this bar.

★★★★★9 months agoAbsolutely fantastic spot for breakfast! Bar La Principal feels authentic and local, not the usual touristy place, which for me, made it better. The food is incredible!! The tortilla de patatas el papi is a must-try, and Papi himself was there with a big smile. 😃 the service was great. The staff were welcoming and friendly, making sure language barrier was never an issue. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, delicious breakfast in Barcelona!
