What couples say about Barcelona

The Arc de Triomf is one of Barcelona’s most recognizable landmarks and a rewarding stop for both travelers and photographers. Built as the grand entrance to the 1888 Universal Exposition, the striking red-brick arch stands apart from many European triumphal arches thanks to its elegant Neo-Mudéjar design and richly detailed decorative sculptures. The monument is located at the head of a broad pedestrian promenade lined with palm trees, making it an inviting place for a leisurely stroll. Street performers, local residents, and visitors create a lively atmosphere throughout the day, while the spacious surroundings offer excellent opportunities for people-watching and urban photography. For photographers, the Arc de Triomf is especially appealing during the golden hours of sunrise and sunset, when warm light enhances the texture and color of the brickwork. The long avenue leading to the arch creates strong leading lines and symmetrical compositions, while nighttime illumination adds a different character to the scene.

Very nice view. Came there for the sunset, but unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best. It‘s a but tricky to find the path, but it’s worth it.

Best time to visit this place is during sunset, when you can enjoy it in full beauty...

    Rambla De Mar

  • The Compass GuyEdited 6 months ago

A wooden bridge that gently reminds you that Barcelona once decided a port deserved a fashion runway. Built in 1994 to link La Rambla with Port Vell this 150 meter floating catwalk does its job quietly while tourists practice the ancient ritual of stopping dead in the middle for photos. Nice views of boats pretending to be important. Sea breeze doing its thing. Locals walking with purpose. Visitors walking like the bridge might disappear if they do not document it from twelve angles. Designed by Helio Piñón and Albert Viaplana which sounds serious but the vibe is relaxed. Come at sunset for golden light and existential thoughts. Come at noon for heat mild regret and excellent people watching. Not life changing. Not overrated. Just a solid bridge having a solid career.

What an incredible experience! We all agreed that this was the best steak we have ever had. The quality, flavor, and tenderness were absolutely outstanding. One of the most unique and enjoyable touches was the swinging seats, which added a fun and memorable atmosphere to the evening. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was grilling our own steaks right at the table. It wasn’t just dinner, it became an experience that we shared together. This special evening made our 28th wedding anniversary one to remember. Enjoying amazing food, a unique dining concept, and the beautiful setting of Barcelona created memories that will last a lifetime. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a truly exceptional dining experience!

Bivio Steak House was such a fun and memorable experience. Being able to cook the wagyu at the table made it even better, it was high quality, incredibly flavorful, and perfectly customizable to exactly how I wanted it. The eggplant chips were a standout too, light, crispy, and surprisingly addictive. My husband loved the paella and the truffle fries, both were packed with flavor and really well done. Overall, the mix of interactive dining and great food made this a place we’d absolutely come back to.
